ABOUT Property LifeSavers

More clarity when it is time to sell.

Property LifeSavers helps UK homeowners explore their selling options, with Assisted Sale at the heart of our service.

What Property LifeSavers is here to do

Property LifeSavers was established in 2013 to help homeowners explore practical options when selling a property isn’t straightforward. A home may need repairs or refurbishment, the owner may not have the money to carry out the work, or circumstances may mean they need to understand their options quickly.

We look at the property and the homeowner’s situation as a whole before considering the most appropriate way forward. Assisted Sale is at the heart of our service: where appropriate, Property LifeSavers can arrange or fund agreed improvements before the property is sold, rather than requiring the homeowner to fund those works themselves upfront.

Our approach is straightforward: understand what the homeowner is trying to achieve, assess the property, explain the available property-sale options and make sure the proposed costs, responsibilities and financial arrangement are clear before anything is agreed.

What matters in our approach

Understand the homeowner

We take time to understand your circumstances, priorities and timescale. These are part of the assessment: the property alone does not determine whether an approach is suitable.

Explain the arrangement

We explain the proposed works, responsibilities, costs and settlement so you can make an informed decision. These are set out clearly in writing before proceeding.

Be realistic about outcomes

Property sales involve uncertainty. A particular selling price, profit, increase in value or completed sale cannot be guaranteed.

Make room for independent advice

You should be able to review the proposed agreement with your own legal adviser and obtain other professional advice where appropriate.

No pressure to proceed

An initial conversation or property assessment does not commit you to an Assisted Sale. The purpose is to understand the situation, explain the available property-sale options and allow you to decide what is right for you.
